Rawal Sahib Ummed Singh Rathore Barmer (born 5 October 1936) was the titular "Rawal Sahib (Ruler/Hishighness/King) of Barmer" (Barmer Royal Family) and an Ex-Member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from Barmer district between 1962–1967, and the Sheo constituency in 1985-1990.Rawal Sahib Ummed singh Ji was also considered as political, cultural,philanthropical and religious icon in Barmer, Rajasthan.

"Rawal Sahib Ummed Singh Ji" was born as the only son to "Rawal Sahib Ratan Singh Rathore Barmer" and his wife, Rani Sahib Shayar Kanwar of Kalandari. "Rawat Ummed Singh ji" belongs to the Suryavanshi (Origin from the Surya-Kula) clan of Rajputs. He succeeded to the titles and dignities of his father when he was only thirteen, in 1949, when his father died.Having attained a brilliant academic record he post graduated in arts and hold the degree of law Rawal Sahib completed his law degree from the University of Jodhpur.
Rawal Sahib weds Rani Sahib Sampat Kanwar, daughter of the Thakur Sahib Narayan Singh ji of Mahensar. As Rawal Sahib has no issue so Rani Sahib Sampat Kanwar adopt Bhanwar Tribhuwan Singh Rathore S/O Kunwar Gajendra Singh Rathore Jalipa and give him title of "Barmer Rawal/Rawat Sahib" on 14 May 2009 that function was completed at "Royal House Of Barmer" / "Fort Barmer". The Royal Coronation (Raj Tilak) ceremony was witnessed by many dignitaries from other Royal families including 800000-1000000 people of Barmer and near villages.
"Rawal Sahib Ummed Singh Ji" was elected as M.L.A. from Barmer rajasthan in year 1962. he was 2nd time elected as M.L.A. from Sheo/shiv constituency in 1985 & then he retired from active politics and devoted his time to his family and do work for upfiftment of society. He was also chairperson of "SHRI MALINATH RAJPUT BOARDING" BARMER,& "GARH TEMPLE" BARMER.
On 9 September 2006 "Rawat Ummed Singh" fell victim of cancer and breathed his last at Jodhpur for heavenly abode. At the time of his funeral more than 50,000 people were gathered to pay homage to the departed soul.
